Delete your account

This page is for the Zefaf AI – Wedding Planner app.

Inside the app

  1. Open “My account” from the bar at the bottom.
  2. Choose “Delete account”.
  3. Confirm.

The account is deleted at once and cannot be restored; its files are removed from our server within minutes. If you want a copy of your data, export it first from “My account”, then “Export my data”.

Without the app

Write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”, and tell us whether you sign in with Apple or Google. We check that the request comes from you, delete the account exactly as the app would, and tell you when it is done. To confirm: the time we commit to for these requests, for example one month at most.

What is erased

  • Your account and sign-in, your profile and your AI consent.
  • Your chats with Zefaf AI, and the images it made for you with their files on our server.
  • Your devices registered for notifications and their notification history, and your purchase record in Zefaf.
  • Your seats in other people’s weddings, and the reminders addressed to you.
  • Weddings you own: if an active partner is in the wedding, it passes to them with all its celebrations, budget, quotes and history, so they can carry on. If not, the wedding is erased with everything in it, including its quote files.

What stays

  • In the history of a wedding your partner carries on, the actions themselves (an approval, a deletion, an answer, the cost of an AI request) stay, without your name.
  • One line recording that an account was deleted: a random identifier, the date, and how many weddings were passed on or erased. It holds no name and no email.
  • Reports you sent about Zefaf AI replies, without your name.
  • Backups, until each one is deleted after 30 days at most.
  • The purchase record kept by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat, under each one’s own policy. To confirm: deleting the RevenueCat customer record when an account is deleted (item A5) is not built yet.
  • If you sign in with Apple, you can also stop using your Apple ID with Zefaf in your device’s Apple Account settings, under “Sign in with Apple”. To confirm: revoking the Apple token on our side at deletion (item A5) is not built yet, and Apple requires it.

Monthly plan

Deleting your account does not cancel a monthly plan in the store, so cancel it first, as on the Refunds page. The Wedding Pass does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

Delete some data without deleting the account

  • A chat with Zefaf AI: delete it from the list of chats.
  • An expense or a payment: delete it from the budget.
  • Your AI consent: withdraw it from “My account”, then “AI consent”.
  • Other data: write to [email protected].
